“How did this project begin, how did the work progress, and how did it all come together to achieve the project goals?”
I loved working with Dr. Ghorab to help her realize her dream of completing a detailed, medically accurate, and inspiring website. She came to me because she was stuck and needed help to get across the finish line. With the brand basics (logo, color choices, etc.) already created by another consultant before we met, and the website design already built out in WordPress by a web development agency, she needed someone to help her fill in the gaps by creating the content to live inside the existing structure.
The main challenge of the project was synthesizing Dr. Ghorab’s highly detailed medical knowledge while also reflecting her warm, caring demeanor. She knew that she wanted her website to be a rich catalogue of information, so that prospects could use it as a trusted resource for research about the various aesthetic and surgical procedures Saba Plastic Surgery offers.
We spent several months co-creating together, and many lengthy Google Docs later, we managed to sketch out the basics of what information we wanted to include on each page.

We then began the process of translating the content into the WordPress template created by her web dev. We iterated time and time again, making sure each detail was perfect. Dr. Ghorab had a heavy editing hand, meticulously combing through every word I wrote to refine the medical language for accuracy while also making personal choices about how she wanted to convey different ideas. We collaborated extensively, bouncing versions back and forth between each other until we agreed each page was perfect.
During this time, we also expanded the project scope to include some supplementary design work. As we refined and edited, she realized that some elements of the pre-built WordPress design needed adjusting. I collaborated together with her web development agency on Zoom calls and over email, tweaking code, modifying elements, and rearranging layouts.
Together as a team, Dr. Ghorab, her web devs, and I crossed the finish line and published the website just in time for the grand opening of her brand new office space in Scottsdale, AZ! I’m so proud of Dr. Ghorab for making her dreams a reality and doing what it took to get there. This project was a massive undertaking for both of us, and she was committed to the process even while balancing the demands of office space renovations, hiring, and more.
